Support
Help with any Wavista app.
Contact us
Email support@wavistaapp.com. Tell us which app you are using and what happened.
The easiest way is from the app: open Settings and tap Contact support. This opens an email that already includes the app version, the iOS version and the app's anonymous user ID. Those details help us find the problem, and they do not include your name or anything you saved in the app. You can delete them before you send the email if you prefer.
Subscriptions and billing
Subscriptions and other in-app purchases are sold and billed by Apple, not by us. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Apple handles the renewal, the receipt and any refund.
- Price, length and free trial. The subscription screen in the app shows the price, how often it renews and any free trial before you buy. Prices can differ by country.
- Renewal. A subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Free trials. If a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. You can cancel during the trial and keep using it until the trial ends.
See, change or cancel a subscription
- On your iPhone, open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions, then tap the app's subscription.
You can also open the app's Settings and tap Manage subscription, which takes you to the same place.
Deleting an app does not cancel its subscription. Cancel it in Subscriptions as shown above.
Restoring purchases
None of our apps needs an account. Your subscription belongs to your Apple Account, so it follows you to a new iPhone or a reinstall.
- Make sure you are signed in to the App Store with the same Apple Account you used to subscribe.
- Open the app, go to Settings and tap Restore purchases. The subscription screen has a Restore button too.
If Restore does not find your subscription, check Settings, your name, Subscriptions to see which Apple Account holds it, then contact us.
Refunds
Because Apple handles all payments, we cannot issue refunds ourselves. To ask Apple for a refund:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
- Choose Request a refund, pick the reason and the purchase, and submit.
Apple decides every refund request under its own policies.
Deleting your data
Every app has Delete my data: open the app's Settings and tap Delete my data, then confirm. It:
- deletes what the app saved on your iPhone (your history, settings and the photos it kept), and starts the app again from the beginning;
- for apps that use our server, deletes or anonymizes what our server holds about you and asks our analytics provider, PostHog, to delete your analytics history;
- turns analytics off on that iPhone.
The data on your iPhone is deleted right away. For apps that use our server, if your iPhone is offline or our server cannot be reached, the app finishes the server step by itself once it can, and until then its Settings shows the deletion as waiting and offers Email support. If you delete the app before it finishes, first email us from Contact support (it adds the anonymous ID we need) and we will delete the server copy.
Leanroll, Unslump and the Big Button Universal TV Remote have no server, so their Delete my data works only on your iPhone. To have your analytics history or purchase record deleted for those apps, email us from Contact support.
It does not cancel your subscription, which stays with your Apple Account. It also does not remove copies you saved outside the app, such as images you saved to Photos or data you allowed the app to save in Apple Health. You can delete those in the Photos or Health app. Each app's privacy policy lists exactly what is deleted and what is kept.
If you delete an app without using Delete my data first, the data on your iPhone is removed with the app, and our server's records are deleted on the schedule in the app's privacy policy.
Questions people ask
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up or login. The apps use a random anonymous ID, and your Apple Account holds your subscription.
Why does the app ask before it analyzes a photo?
Some apps send a photo, and sometimes a short note, to our server and then to OpenAI to get a result. The app explains what is sent and asks first. You can turn this off at any time with the AI switch in the app's Settings (Use AI analysis, Use AI designs or Use AI restoration). Leanroll, Unslump and the Big Button Universal TV Remote do not use cloud AI at all.
The result looks wrong. What should I do?
AI results are estimates and can be wrong. Try a clearer photo in good light, and tap the thumbs on the result ("Was this right?") so we can see where the app struggles. Check anything important with a qualified person before you rely on it.
I reached a limit for today.
Features that use our server have limits per person to keep the service fast and affordable. Daily limits reset at midnight UTC. Some plans also have a weekly or monthly limit, and the app tells you when it resets.
Can I make the text bigger?
Yes. The apps follow your iPhone's text size. Change it in Settings, Display & Brightness, Text Size, or in Settings, Accessibility, Display & Text Size, Larger Text.
I bought a subscription but the app still shows the paywall.
Tap Restore purchases in the app's Settings. If that does not help, email us from Contact support so we get the anonymous ID we need to look it up.
